And we have the end of season Ryder Cup just around the corner. Visit the RC page to see details of the event and find out who the winners are.
This season has seen the introduction of an exciting new format.
If a club plays at home one year against another club then the following year they will play them away. The club with the most points at the end of the competition will be the winner.
The Chiltern Ladies’ Golf League was formed in 2006 to bring together lady golfers who were keen to play competitive golf against neighbouring clubs in the beautiful Chiltern Hills. Founder clubs are : - Chartridge Park, Chiltern Forest, Oakland Park, Weston Turville, Whiteleafand Princes Risborough.
Each winter, a one-day Ryder Cup style competition will be held among all participating clubs as the final event of the season.
All competitions have their rules and this is no different. This year the league will be played in one large group, with all clubs playing the others in a home or away greensomes match, three pairs representing each club. Points are awarded at the end of each match and the club with the most points at the end of the competition will be declared the winner of the League.
